Canada introduced visa-free air travel and announced the addition of 13 countries to the electronic travel authorization (eTA) programme. Effective June 6 2023, travellers from these countries who have either held a Canadian visa in the last 10 years or who currently hold a valid United States non-immigrant visa can now apply for an eTA instead of a visa when travelling to Canada by air.

Bhutan has announced a new travel incentive on Bhutan’s Sustainable Development Fee (SDF). Bookings made from June 1, 2023 onwards will be eligible for the exclusive SDF incentives for US Dollar SDF-paying guests, and are valid for stays in Bhutan between June 1, 2023 until December 31, 2024. Germany's immigration law reforms will be introduced in three stages starting in November this year. The German government gave its final approval for the law in July this year. It is expected to come into force in three steps in November 2023, March 2024 and June 2024. The reforms to the Skilled Immigration Act particularly focus on workers with vocational, non-academic training. Existing rules for qualified professionals with university degrees will also be relaxed. The new EU Blue Card from November 2023.
